The AirTouch N20 Nasal CPAP Mask is actually the first CPAP mask ResMed created with memory foam. These new UltraSoft cushions easily conform to the unique facial features of each CPAP user, and because they resist moisture, this unique design doesn’t require cleaning; just remember to replace your cushions every 3 months. Plus, the warmth of a foam cushion means they won’t feel cool to the touch like silicone can.
Of course, if you do prefer silicone, that is an option; instead of UltraSoft, you can order the silicone cushion separately, which is fully interchangeable, helps prevent mask leaks, and fits up to 99% of all patients according to ResMed. Whichever you prefer, comfort directly impacts CPAP therapy. The more comfortable you feel, the better sleep you’ll get.
The ResMed AirTouch N20 Nasal CPAP Mask also offers some plush headgear. Not only is it padded but the headgear is equipped with four points of adjustment, so you can further personalize your CPAP mask to fit you. For easy attachment, magnetic clips are available to help guide the headgear to the frame and vice versa; this improves assembly efficiency.
