How Are Parents Really Sleeping?
We surveyed 800+ people about parenting, sleep, and what happens when you’re not getting enough of it.
Parenthood often comes with the expectation of disrupted sleep. But when poor sleep becomes the norm, the effects can reach far beyond feeling tired the next morning.
Sleep can affect mood, energy, health, relationships, work, and overall quality of life.

The Sleep Deprivation Reality Check
Parenting is rewarding—but it can also be exhausting. And when sleep takes a hit, so can everything else.
Nearly 80% of the people we surveyed are parents, giving us a closer look at how sleep—or the lack of it—is affecting everyday life, from mood and energy to work, relationships, and simply getting through the day.
More than a quarter of respondents also showed signs consistent with undiagnosed sleep apnea, suggesting that for some parents, poor sleep may be more than the result of busy schedules or nighttime wake-ups.

Don't Snooze On This Opportunity!

Join us on October 13th at 12pm EST as we discuss how parenthood comes with an almost universal expectation of disrupted sleep, but the impact of chronic sleep deprivation may be far more significant than many parents, healthcare providers, and employers realize.
In this exclusive webinar we’ll be hearing from our Sleep Science Advisors, Dr. Carleara Weiss and Dr. Christopher Allen, as they explore how what’s often dismissed as simply “part of parenting” can have effects that go far beyond a tired morning.
To better understand the realities of parental sleep health, we’ll also share findings from our team’s survey of 800+ parents, nearly 80% of whom have children under the age of 10.
Their responses offer a closer look at how parents are sleeping, how sleep—or the lack of it—is affecting everyday life, and where opportunities exist to better support sleep health for parents and their families.
